PDP SW Congress: Fayose’s candidate for youth leader disqualified

 

The exclusion was reported by the Deputy Governor of Benue State, Engineer Johnson Abounu, who subbed for the board Chairman, Governor Samuel Ortom. 

As per the board, the up-and-comer was excluded for not gathering the age necessity for the post. 

The Candidate is 49 years of age which negate the arrangement of our constitution, which put the age for anybody trying the situation to be between 18-40 years", he said. 

In the mean time, Governor Fayose who conceded that the up-and-comer is from his camp acknowledged the exclusion in compliance with common decency. 

"The competitor is from my camp. I acknowledge the preclusion for his benefit in the soul of harmony in the gathering. We won't regard it as an instance of impact from the board", he said.
